Northern Delights Bakery – Shipping Policy

At Northern Delights Bakery, we specialize in fresh, handcrafted baked goods made in small batches. Because of the nature of our products, our fulfillment process is a little different from traditional shipping.


📍 Order Fulfillment (Primary Method: Pickup)

We currently operate on a pickup and pre-order basis:

  • Orders are available for pickup at:
    • Local farmers markets (e.g., Stratford Farmers Market, Keady Livestock Market)
    • Special event locations
  • Pickup details (date, time, location) will be provided at checkout or order confirmation

Important:
Customers are responsible for picking up orders at the scheduled time.


🚚 Local Delivery (If Offered)

From time to time, we may offer local delivery:

  • Delivery areas will be clearly listed at checkout
  • Delivery dates and time windows will be communicated after purchase
  • Someone must be available to receive the order

We are not responsible for:

  • Missed deliveries
  • Incorrect addresses provided by the customer

📦 Shipping (If/When Available)

At this time, standard shipping is limited or unavailable due to the perishable nature of our products.

If shipping becomes available:

  • Only select items (non-perishable or properly packaged goods) will be eligible
  • Shipping rates will be calculated at checkout
  • We are not responsible for:
    • Carrier delays
    • Damage caused during transit
    • Weather-related impacts

⏳ Processing Time

  • Orders are typically prepared within 1–3 business days depending on production schedules
  • Pre-orders for markets may have specific cutoff times (e.g., Thursday for weekend markets)

❗ Missed Pickup or Delivery

  • Orders not picked up at the scheduled time may be:
    • Donated
    • Discarded (due to food safety)

No refunds will be issued for missed pickups.


📦 Order Accuracy

Please ensure:

  • Your contact details are correct
  • Pickup location and time are clearly understood

If there is an issue with your order, contact us within 24 hours.


⚠️ Product Care

Once your order is picked up or delivered:

  • Responsibility transfers to the customer
  • We recommend:
    • Refrigerating or freezing items as needed
    • Consuming fresh products within recommended timeframes
